Hello,
English is not my mother tongue,I'm trying to make it clear.
When I use the body mass of the surface to generate the wall,There are two kinds of results.
In general, you get the first result. The top of the wall is flat with the elevation
、
But sometimes, you get the result occasionally. The top of the wall is 90 degrees from the surface.
I want to know what's going on.How should the second result be reproduced?
Thank you for your reading, if you have the answer please tell me, thank you very much!

Can you share the revit files it will greatly help in answering your question
Thank you for your reply, this is the test model (revit2016 version), I hope to understand the reasons for this
But there is no such adjustable selection in the properties of the wall.I used to speculate about the coordinates of the surface. But after testing, no matter which of the following coordinates, will not change the resulting wall style. You can see the model I uploaded, the coordinates of the switch surface is no use, God, I really do not know the second situation how I drew it, I really hope to return to that time to see what is going on.
It has to do with the double curvature. Decreasing the radius of the rotated profile, will change the orientation of the topface from flat to angled..
below is a test for wall by planar face. I think 45 degree is the threshold. For curved surface, you may need to control the tangential angle in a similar fashion.
