Hi all,
I have created a generic annotation family to be used to markup views & sheets by Project Managers in my firm. The family is basically an arrow with parameters to such as "Assigned to", "Description" etc which will populate a To-Do schedule to track issues in model.
The family has a 2no. filled regions (red & green) which have visibility linked to "High Priority" and "Low Priority" parameters. Now I want to have a master visibility parameter that will simply turn off the annotation type when clicked.
I nested the original family (..arrow.rfa) into a new family (...anno.rfa) which allows me to control visibility throughout the project BUT I then cannot control the filled regions in the nested family.....So I brought the filled regions into the parent family so they can be changed BUT now the master visibility parameter doesnt turn off the filled regions...
I need help before I burn my laptop!! Any thoughts? Could this be done with a formula??
I'm looking at your family and do not see an issue. The visibility parameter controls the fill region fine. What I'm I missing?
