Turn off painted walls in 'Exisitng Phase' Interior Elevations

I have painted my interior walls with a tile pattern for new construction.  How do I turn off the pattern in the elevations that are set to the 'Existing Phase'?

Set the view to New Phase and use Show Previous.

Considering that pain is not an elements to be phased, you would need to use view filters to override pattern. Otherwise,

  • use parts to phase the finish layers
  • use a separate wall element for finish layer

This worked but I do still see the split face line.  Can I set a filter to hide that line? Thanks!

You can place split face lines on a workset and switch it off in all views or selected views (whichever suits the purpose)
