Turn off Hatch Pattern in Revit Family editing View mode

How can I turn off Hatch Pattern in Revit Family View Mode?

After setting materials (Textures, Surface & Cut Hatch) for all solids, I need to edit the shapes. But all hatch patterns (Drafting & Model), especially Model hatch patterns make things be complicated to snap.

I checked VG table and graphic display options, there is no options for material override.

Is there any way to override or TEMPORARY turn off all textures and hatch patterns?

There is no way of turning this off unfortunately.

When in Edit model the material disappears and you are left with the outline so should be okay here as regards when the element is not in edit mode you can either just use the Default material and switch it at the end to your required material or do not define the Material in the Family directly but assign it to a Parameter which is defined in the Model rather than the Family

I would duplicate type in the family editor and change the material to by category or remove the material all together in the family editor mode. The other way is edit the material and remove the hatch. When you load the family back it, Revit will not update the material in the project environment.
