truss heel height

Looking for help in defining a roof truss heel height in Revit.  I have researched the web and was unable to find any information or assistance on how, or if it is possible, to define a truss heel height in Revit.  I have developed a spreadsheet that will calculate the required "base offset" to correctly set the truss top chord elevation for the desired heel height, slope and chord depth although this dimension is one of the most important dimensions in truss design and I would think the Revit developers would have an area that this distance can be set.  Am I missing a setting or selection in Rivit?  If not, I would be interested in knowing how others address this issue.

Thank in advance.

It is most likely possible to create a schedule in Revit that will do this...however there is not a heel in the out of the box trusses so it would not change anything in the actual truss.

You could create a custom truss starting with the Structural Framing - Complex and Trusses template and build all of the parameters into the truss, then in a project or template you could build the schedule and the formulas you need.  It may even be possible to build it into the family but it probably makes more sense to just build it in a schedule.
