New to creating a roof truss and adding it to the model. seems like the truss end points want to 'snap' to the center of the end bearing walls. is there a way so it doesn't snap/join to the wall?
figured it out.
layout the truss in plan and then in section, raise the truss, extend the ends to where you want it and lower it back down.
In Revit 2024.2, I am experiencing the same issue with trusses. The trusses snap to the center of the wall (which has multiple external layers), and I cannot make any adjustments. I need to snap the trusses to the center of the core wall. Currently, I have to spend a considerable amount of time editing truss chords because the truss ends only work automatically, and I cannot manage them within the wall body at all.
Revit 2024.2 Your method does not help at all. When I copy the truss back down to the wall body, the truss is snapped automatically to the geometric center of the multiple-layered wall.
Is there an option to select the end of the Truss or Node (Tab or Right Click) and then use disallow join?
