True North Set up in 3d View for Solar Study

How do I reorient a 3d view of the project to the true north position to conduct the solar studies? I see the option on the plan view, but not in 3 d view.

Solar Study is always based on True North.  You need not worry to change anything to your 3D view (N on the compass is True North).

Adjust Project North and True North to be accurate to your site.  On the Manage - Position - Rotate True North or Rotate Project North.    You have to be careful with this as if your project is not just being setup it can mess up your annotations.  I generally do it from the Site Plan view.  Each plan view has a "Orientation" in it's Properties Palette for that view.  Generally the only view that is set to True North is the Site plan.  The others are set to Project North so that the building is mostly parallel and perpendicular to the views.
