Trouble with view ranges and my floors

Hello all,

I am frustrated on the view range settings part of the program.....

I have a foundation with a concrete slab, the flooor is at main floor level.  I can only edit the edges thru edit slab by selecting it in section view - I cannot select it in my plan view.  I have checked view template, floors are selected.  The view template is structural that was ootb.  I am spending too much time trying to make the plan look the way I want - I have to add another slab edge since one was deleted but I cannot find the slab.

If this is something else, please enlighten me....

-Phases and/or Phase Filters

-Crop View

-(Negative) Offset from Level

If you can not find the solution maybe you can upload the problem area of your project.

(confirming the problem still exists after stripping odf unnecessary elements)

Try toggling "Select Elements by Face" and see if that get's what you want.
