So I have an issue where I am trying to move the project base point to align with CAD files of the same building as seen in the attachment. A short version of the long process I have to go through, the CAD files are the location that the Revit file must move to. The CAD file was linked in "origin to origin". The image I have attached is (1) building in (4) of a site. The location, orientation of these CAD files are vital to stay where they are for our CAD to GIS translation. When I link in each of the (4) CAD files that make up the site, they all align as they do in the real world. Want the (4) Revit models that make up the site to do the same. How do I move the the (22) floors of this Revit model I have attached (see handwritten R) to the CAD file (see handwritten C in image). This was a process I thought I remembered but am missing a vital step. When I move the project base point noting seems to change. Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Don't want to screw up any one of the (22) floors. Thanks in advance.
