Per my screen shot, I have assigned all of the sub-components of my wall structure to have different layer names with corresponding colors. When it makes the .dwg it puts all of the wall components on the same A-WALL layer (magenta), despite being set up differently in the Export Manager. Can anyone shed some light on how to fix this? I really only want the core boundary of the structure to stand out, and have the other layers less pronounced... but this is giving me all or nothing?

Modify Walls/Exterior and Walls/Interior.
...based on Wall Type's Function setting.
Thanks for the suggestion - that was partly the answer. I realized (after looking at it for WAY too long) that I had failed to duplicate the info in the Projection columns into the Cut columns.
I should note that only four of the layers in the Walls subcategory seem export to .dwg layers: "Common Edges" (basically everything inside of your wall, no matter how many components you have defined), "Walls/Interior" , "Walls/Exterior" which are the innermost, and outermost lines, no matter what component they are, and "Cut Pattern". So there does not seem to be a way to control the layer color of the individual components (structure, substrate, finish, etc) within a wall? I'm not really sure why it breaks the export dialog into so many subcategories when they don't seem to do anything?
