Trouble editing wall layers to different heights.

I currently have two layers on my exterior wall, my studs and my sheathing. The studs sit above the floor that I've created while the sheathing is on the exterior of the floor.. essentially exposing the flooring beneath.

I would like to extend my sheathing down to the underside of the floor to cover it in its entirety, however when attempting to edit the height of the sheathing in the structural editor it doesn't give me the grips that I believe it's supposed to have. I've unlocked each layer on the top and bottom of the wall type but it just won't work.

Isnt it easier to do without unlocking layers? Give the wall a bottom offset then join geometry Or alternatively use Parts
