Hi,
I want to create a trapezoidal roof that connects three points of a roof as shown below
Each line has a different slope.
Now I couldn't create this with the native revit roof tool. So I tried formit. But formit is very limiting too as it doesn't show up correctly on the floor plan.
It doesn't correctly in floor plan.
Is there any way to draw this roof in revit using native tools like massing?
I tried massing too but it didn't work as the points are set at different work planes or heights.
Thanks for your help.
That's interesting construction. Post the file and let me see how I'd approach.
...Actually. I can't make out what I'm looking at. Almost looks like a vertical wall. Or no? Post the File.
Hi @barthbradley
Sure, here you go:

It's this corner of the building btw.
Also, I made this revit file for a scan to BIM project for a new company. I was handling the entire Revit modeling process as they're new to the software. If you have any additional tips, it would be great.
This is a Roof Renovation project for a old building here in Germany.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Thanks I fixed it.
I just used the regular roof and modified the sub-elements. So now I can tweak each point of the roof individually and at different heights.
