Hi,
I'd like to be able to make certain walls transparent in a plan + dashed outline (that has a color scheme) to show that these walls are optional.
Anyone has an idea of how to do this? The dashed outline I got by making it a temporary wall and use the right phase filter, but when it comes to making it transparent I can't figure out a solution.
Thanks!
One way to do this is to use a filter. In the attached image, I filled in the Comment parameter of the wall to be optional. I then created a filter to look for walls with a comment field of 'Optional' and adjusted the outline to be dotted and coloured, and the fill pattern to be hidden.
There is Graphic Overrides by ELEMENT. Select the Wall, Right-click and go to "Override Graphic in View=>By Element".
Thank you for your reply!
Unfortunately I can't seem to get this to work together with a color scheme. The wall still is white instead of seeing the background color by color scheme. Am I missing something?
Hey,
Either using filters or overriding graphics in the view by element you must set the Transparency with 100%. On that way you will see the color that is behind the wall.
If you use filters
If you use override graphics in view by element
Kind regards.
