Currently trying to make the two glass panel parts of my louver system 60% transparent without making the wood louvers transparent. I know how to make the panels themselves transparent, but was just curious if anyone knew a quick way to make parts of a family transparent. Also just a side note, I think I could hide the panels for the fine detail level as that is the one I'm using, not sure if it would hide the whole panel or just the glass pane, but regardless this is not really what I'm looking for as it would make them 100% transparent.

Transparency in Section or Elevation. You are showing an Elevation. Revit Windows aren't even transparent in Elevation. The documented workaround is to turn off the Glass Category in Elevation to simulate transparency.
Ahhh yes it's a section but they're being shown in elevation, sorry about the confusion. And yea this works! It's too bad there isn't a halftone option for glass panels though as this would be what I would want. Would it be possible to create a glass filter that changes the transparency of curtain panels? I will start messing around with that next.
Ah yea this should work. Little confused on how to make new categories to be used with filter, so I'll just add the class to a category I'm not using. Thanks!
I got an idea. Why don't you create 3D Elevations? That'll get you there. Or, does it have to be 2D?
