Transparent Filled Regions no long colour shadows in 2023

Is there a setting in 2023 to have a 100% transparent and non-masking filled region colour the shadow as it once did (see below)?

We found it incredibly useful and time saving not to trace shadows every time the proposed building would change and planning requires an overlayed comparison of existing and proposed that needed to be unfortunately traced but thankfully once. Any suggestions to how the below sample can otherwise be achieved efficiently are welcomed. Thanks🙂

You can use Right-Click override By Element and override it's surface transparency to almost 100% but not 100%...this is 90%. It does change the color of the fill though so those that are overridden would need to have color corrected choices. Not ideal... looks like something they overlooked in recent releases 2023 and 2024 too.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, overriding the element in view is how we achieved a coloured shadow with the paper remaining white. The filled region would cover the whole plan and pick up the proposed shadows in blue. I am aware filled regions have been updated since 2022, find below link. Can be quite a contentious issue where planning tribunals are wanting more detailed information regarding the extent of overshadowing. Sometimes even ridiculously requesting 5min incremental studies quantified by area tables in plan and section.

I have trialled some thrid party Add-Ins often too buggy or inconsistent for the price. So if there are any workflow or Add-Ins others can recommend, please do.
