Transparent Decal Background in Revit 2015

Hi, all.

I have a PNG file that I'm trying to add as a decal to a glass door and to a wall, but it's coming in as a solid image, even though the PNG file has no background.

How do I make the background for the decal transparent so it's just the logo on the window instead of the logo on a white sticker on the window?

Thanks in advance for your help!

-Joshua

in Decal Types setting , use Cutouts - Image File - Use a Black and White Image  (a Mask) to Cut Away areas of the decal.Black areas are cut away ( black is completely transparent and white completly opaque. grays or colors are semitransparent ...dark grey more transparent that light grey..)

  1. with a mask with white foreground ( perfect opaque) and black background ( perfect transparent)

2. with a mask of black background and colored foreground
