Hello,
In one of our projects we have a workflow where we send the architect our parameter values (a few shared parameters, they used the original shared parameter file we sent them to incorporate in their model) via txt file to be read in.
They then send their models back to us with their changes and our read in values.
Something very strange has begun to happen, whereby last time we had a data exchange (and possibly also once before), one of the models' parameters wasn't being recognized by our view filters in our container model (where all these models are linked). This was solved by transferring standards and including the project parameters from a template file. After that everything was great.
This time all of the models aren't being recognized. The shared parameters have the exact same GUID, so it's the same parameter. Exporting the parameter and comparing it to our own file tells me as much.
Funny thing is, when I transfer our view templates and filters, the immediate file can use the view filters, but won't recognize the linked files (we also link all the files with each other for context and room boundaries).
It's as though retransferring the parameters via transfer projects standards acts a refresh button.
They're quite large and there are more than a dozen of them, so this is not going to be a fun thing to need to fix weekly.
Has anyone else experienced this and/or found a better solution?
Thanks in advance.
its supposed to work. Did you apply correct parameter in Both linked and live model. I have attached sample mode try like this. Still you cant upload the you model I will take a look.
