Trackside equipment installation

Hi, I'm Giovanni Scala from Hitachi Rail STS.
I ask you a question regarding the interoperability between Civil 3D and Revit about the railway mailine design.
The main alignment and the railway infrastructure were modeled in Civil 3D, while all trackside equipment (balises, disconnection boxes, junction boxes) were modeled in Revit.
Now, when I export the Civil3D main alignment (.dwg) to Revit I get a non-editable block, so how do I automatically know the progressives where to install the Revit objects and automatically add them to their properties (e.g. 3+00 KM, 4+50 KM, etc...) ? (In Civil 3D I can move along the main alignment, but in Revit I can't.)
The end goal is asset management, so object properties in Revit are critical.
Thank you.

Did you export to Revit so that Revit can Acquire Coordinates from your export? This is necessary to create a coordinate relationship between the site and Revit's shared coordinate system. Revit doesn't provide a way to move an element to a coordinate location, not without some programming or Dynamo. You could provide markers in the Civil export to identify building corners or other "origin" markers to allow the Revit elements to be moved into the correct position/orientation.
