Total area parametric

Window schedule or room schedule will give Total Area. I wonder is there a way to make it parametric, so I can use that Total area for other calculation, automatically.

For example, 20% of 100 sf of total window area is 20sf. We have done this calculation manually, wishing it can be automatically calculated and place any where within the project as we please (in the form of label, perhaps).

You can format the schedule to show just the Total value and place it on sheets where you want it.

Thx Toan. This is not a direct solution but a good work around. It can only placed on sheet, not inside drafting view, so it s not anywhere per se.

I m hoping for such ability in future version.

Is the question

  1. "how to place the total area on drafting views and sheets"?!
  2. or how to use it in Formulas and computations in/for other categories?!

Or were you asking the 2nd but had in mind the first?

I did and it implied Question 2 mentioned above (which is possible in doors and windows schedules where you have access to room information including area) but then it appeared that placing a schedule everywhere saves the day.
