I have modeled a toposurface but when I make a subregion, the existing toposurface face is not substituted by the subregion but instead remains there and overlaps with the created region.
I tried creating the subregion from scratch and this still happens. Nothing to do with phasing either since Revit sets both topo and regions at the same phase by default. Also, there is only 1 topo in this case, so no case of 2 overlapping topos.
Really frustrated... Any ideas why this is happening?
I'm not following. Subregions are hosted to and dependent on the Toposurface, and Subregions cannot intersect. So overlapping is not possible on the same Toposurface.
...I suspect you have 2 Toposurfaces overlapping each other. If you want to post the file, we can take a look and see.
<Although I am 4 years late> I sorted this issue by drawing the area having the overlapping issue separately from the subregion areas that were unaffected. As in, two separate subregions. Hope this helps to anyone still facing this issue.
