Toposurface not appearing as white

I am creating my toposurface following my uni lecture. I am doing this on the site plan and all 4 points have an elevation of -150. The toposurface covers the entire site with the points on each corner. When I create it, the black border appears but the area does not become white. I therefore can not then change the transparency as I am meant to.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Hello

If you want to make it white, select your topo and assign a material then change the color ,

Kindly review the screencast on how to see the transparency for Topography

Thanks for responding,

The first image is what mine looks like after I followed your steps (the only change I notice is that I can no longer see the black outline) The second image is what my project is meant to look like at this stage (that is once the site has gone white and then the transparency is changed).

Thanks for responding,

That is exactly what I'm trying to do! Unfortunately I follow the steps in the video and mine doesn't do that.

I have attached what my project looks like after I completed the steps (also the same as before I did so).

Did you select the CAD background and change it to foreground?

The Toposurface might not be within the View Range.   You said your Points were placed at -150 in Plan View.  Try setting your View Range Bottom and View Depth distance  to "Unlimited".

I don't know how to open that view up. My options under floor plans are ground floor, level 1, site, SITEXREF and true north.

I changed it to consistant colours and it still did not go white. I thought to try making the toposurface another colour (instead of white). This worked and the toposurface became pink, however it was transparent and I checked and all transparency settings were set to 0.

The attached image shows it pink with transparency at 0.

That's exactly what I want mine to look like! But for some reason I can't get it to work, my toposurface over my site can go every colour except white.
