Topography Pad regions not affected by VG

Hi,

I have set up a view template so that the topography cut fill is white below the cut line. But this setting doesn't seem to impact the topography regions which are underneath pads. They require manual overrides. Is there a way to include these in the view template?

Toposurfaces are SURFACES; just as the name implies. Not 3D geometry.  There is nothing under the Surface to cut through.  

...in cross-section elevation of the Topo, you are looking at a poche.  Poche depth is controlled via the Site Settings/Elevation of poche base under Mass & Site Tab.
