Topography only shows up gray.

This may or may not be a simple fix as I'm rather new to the program..

I created a topography surface and in the Properties window panel I selected a material for the topography. However, when I render my site, the topography remains a dull gray color.

Any idea of what the problem may be and how I can fix it?

Which material did you specify in the above example?

I would open Manage > Materials > locate the material above > Render Appearance > and verify the image is located and set accordingly.

I would also verify that if you set the Visual Style > Realistic, does the material still show gray or appear as it should?
