topography - how to see objects that are within (under the surface)

What can I do to be able to see lines that are just under the surface of topography (In a plan view)?

Depending on how I set the view range they are either obscured by the fill pattern or the surface layout - they are only visible when the cut plane is set exactly on the lines elevation but this is not how I want to set the view range.

Ideally I would have the topo surface halftone and fill pattern invisible to be able to have the lines visible and still have reference to how the topo surface looks like.

Extend your view range so that the object will be visible.

Then set your Graphics to wireframe so that you can see the object.

Then use the linework tool (hidden lines is a good option) and pick the lines of the object.

Reset your graphics and view range to the desired settings.  The lines will update if the object is moved.

hi @Anonymous

I actually meant lines - model lines from architecture ribbon.

But using wireframe view mode is exactly what I needed. Thanks!
