Major and Minor Contours.
What mixed results are you talking about
You can save AutoCAD DWGs back to an older version.
Can you share a RVT with the incorrect toposurface on it?
Yes it is a 2D DWG. That's what the OP is going to use as a basis to drop his points on to generate elevations. And I was not the one who had trouble opening the file.....
@pushenergy hello, layer of contour point is SS_LEVEL_PNT. there should be a value of your Position Z once you link your cad into revit to create a toposurf., unless you key-in your elevation point manually. thanks
LMAO!!! That's exactly the point I have been making: There is no "Z" in the dwg. This begs the question: WHAT IS THE QUESTION? "Can someone tell me quickly which layer I need to bring in from the attached CAD file to create a contour map?" What does this mean?
...okay, sorry. Just having a rotten day. Love you all.
Yes there are Z points i have now found them on a layer called 3D points,
@pushenergy hello, you are right the layer is SS_3d it was freeze that why we don't see them. thanks
Hi there @pushenergy
I just wanted to follow up here, any progress on this issue?
Please mark any posts that help with "Accept as Solution" and thanks!
