Hello All,
I am facing problem making the top rail with same alignment to that of main top rail.
Have made the main top rail in one sketch containing the balusters as required for the project.
And the curved top rail in both ends is a separate sketch to attain the curve/bending.
I have also tried aligning the face but got a warning "can not change the plane of the sketch".
All sketch are made inside the stair and hosted with staircase.
All are in railing family. If no option to do in railing properties. I have to choose model in place.
see attached images for reference.
Please suggest on how to attain the bottom top rail in line with the main line.
Thank you,
Rao
You are using extensions for the rail? these do not align to the slop...Remove the extensions and try either of the following:
Otherwise Attach the stair to have a look

Thank you for quick reply.
If I remove the extensions, it works for the end segment rail but the connection will loose near the stair and landing segment.(Image 46)
the problem I'm guessing is with the end of this path with extension set to extend rail to meet.
See the plan top end have the horizontal break while the bottom part doesn't have the line.(Image 47)
Have also attached stair and railing Revit file copied from the main model.
These are the requirements for the railing, see the attached pdf.
