Top and inferior Mullions outside curtain wall constraints

Hi, I'm detailing a window using a curtain wall.

The inferior mullion has a small piece that should exceed the inferior constraint of the curtain wall (see image), but i can't get it to move any lower. I tried editing the profile family, moving it up and down and changing the reference plane properties. No luck so far. Apparently the mullion is always located considering the lowest point of the profile drawing. Is there a way to modify this?

Yeah, you can't do that.  There's a half dozen other approaches you could use though.  Why don't you remove mullions (and "empty" panels), instead of trying to extend or add mullions?  Get what I'm saying?

I'm not sure I follow. Do you mean having the lower constraint below the original level and deleting the elements underneath?

So far, the only way I figured out to mantain the original level is deleting the small piece and leaving it only as a 2D detail in section. However, it's not an accurate modeling of the window.

Sure. That would be one way to do it.

Another approach might be "Edit Profile".  Have you explored that?  Select the Curtain Wall and press "Edit Profile" on the Contextual Tab.

Thanks, that works! and I get to keep the inferior constraint.
