Help. We're going through a paradigm shift as we transition from AutoCAD to Revit. I'm the old guy, but the young guys are the ones complaining about how to make toilet room elevations look like they do in AutoCAD (I'm not sure why). Can any of you share examples of toilet room elevations created in Revit?
I realize a number of objects come into play - toilet partition objects, toilet fixtures, counters, etc.
That is what we were looking for. Like the way they look. Are they simply a section/elevation cut of the model or is there line work added?
When you go into the View tab -> click on Elevations it will prompt you to drop in a tag. That will create the Interior Elevation that you want. You may only need to add linework if you want to add some features that would be too complex to model or which are only visible when cut through.
I've never had any actual training... as an architect, as a draftsman, or whatever... so my preferred style has changed. Plus I'm a one-man show as far as producing construction documents in our office, so I can do what I want regarding graphical standards. Below is a very simple project, but it shows the style I'm currently favoring.
