Hey everyone, So I'm trying to figure out how to get my discipline to show in my title block I need the name of the drawing to say Struc or Arch but I don't know what edit label word would work for that. I need them to be different for each page that is a Struc and Arch ect. anyone have any ideas? All I have is a screen shot just to help what I'm trying to say.

Hey there.

You must use shared parameters. Inside your family file, on the label edit screen, add a parameter and select your shared parameter called "discipline", for example.

If you don't have a shared parameter file created, click on the button Edit and create a file, it's easy.

On your project file, you'll have to load that shared parameter file too. To do that, go to Manage > Settings > Shared parameters. Then, at the same ribbon, select the button Project parameters and create a new parameter picking the shared parameter you created to use as the sheet discipline.

Selecting that parameter, apply it to the sheet category that appears at the right side. I think would be better if you use as a instance parameter.

Then, when you select a sheet, it will appear that parameter on the properties pallete.

If your problem has been solved, please click on Accept as Solution. Then others users can take benefit of it.
