time period for building construction

hi 

i am have trouble to take out the time period of building construction in revit. as i know this is been done in navis work is there any solution that i can do it in revit its self with using the scheduled parameter as i can do it structure templete.

You can add integer parameters to indicate Construction Start and Construction Duration and add it as fields to your schedule.  Add a calculated value to get the Construction Finish from the Start and Duration information.

In calculating the construction period you should make sure that you do not include time spent in obtaining building approval, water connection etc. Under the Home Building Contracts Act, a builder has 45 days to obtain the necessary approvals to build. This period does not usually form part of the construction period.
