To whom it may concern,
I know that specific heat capacity, density and thermal conductivity are factors that determine thermal mass. AUTODESK in its sustainability workshop website points out that four factors are used to understand thermal mass: density, specific heat, thermal capacity and thermal lag. (http://sustainabilityworkshop.autodesk.com/buildings/thermal-properties-materials) Is Revit using specific heat or specific heat capacity to calculate thermal mass? Also, it appears that thermal capacity is calculated by multiplying density by specific heat. This is a little bit confusing...! Any comments will be highly appreciated!
