I cannot open a file (that was centralfile) and it appears the message" The file A-.......rvt cannot be opened. There are too many elements missing in it.Please Contact Autodesk Support"
Why is it so?
I was working on that file and I syncronized as well. Not I cannot open my local file either the central model.

This happens a lot when basic housekeeping needs to be done on your machine.
1) Delete all your local files
2) In the Windows Search box, type in %TEMP%. Delete all files in the folder.
3) Empty Recycle Bin
4) Restart
This should get your file to open successfully.

I have followed all the steps and this doesnt seem to work. I opened the latest backup with the audit function and searched for the missing elements. None of the missing elements can be found. How do I know that I wont get this error message in the future and again lose hours of work.
Does the backup work correctly? If it does, then I would use it to over write the Central model.
