Hi everybody,
Is there a way to resolve the issue of not cutting the external part of the wall by the window opening?
Image below.
Many thanks in advance.
Elio
Did you draw them seperately? or did you use create parts on the wall? If so, why? What's the reason you're using parts?
Hi Martijn.
I created the wall, inserted the window and then exploded it into parts.
Hello Sir,
I am not authorized to do it. Since it is a complex and large scale model. If I copy only the selected part of the geometries in another model, the problem does not persist.
Many thanks !

Still wondering if you should be using parts at all... But otherwise you could seperate the opening as part also and exclude it i think?
Hi Sir,
I need parts because the model will then be used for the quantity takeoff, so I cannot join the parts...
Hello Doan,
I tried all the options, but it does not work. I have copied the geometry in another file and it works perfectly, whereas in the file I am currently modelling it does not. What is your opinion?
Thanks again!
Parts is not the issue if your wall is cut properly. If you change the view to Show Originals, does the window cut through the wall?

Judging from the image you have posted in the original post, the shape handles indicate that the layer/part you have selected is already cut by the Window (Refer to the image below)
unless that element is part of something other than the wall and window (maybe a wrongly phased infill) and when cutting wall and window and pasting into a new file works; I would suggest that you have another look at the Phasing and the applied Phase filters (reset phase created of wall and window to same phase)

Hello Sir,
I also checked the phases and they are coincident... So the problem still persists...
@Anonymous
Did you try to tab select the part in the middle and Reset Shape?

Just a thought, what if you draw the outer layer outside your wall assembly (new type...) seperately and then join that. Wondering what happens then...
