The wall insulation symbol

Hi Dears,

I have some symbols that be added as insulation in Revit but I do not know the meaning of them (R13 WOOD), (R13 Metal), R2 CMU, and so on. Anyone can help me understand these symbols meaning?

What do you mean by "I have some symbols that be added as insulation in Revit".  Could you elaborate?  Pictures would help.

R# usually indicates the ideal R value achieved by the assembly. For example, a CMU wall provides an R value of 2, an assembly wall of wood siding, substrate, 3 1/2" wood framing, batt insulation, and interior finish provides an R value of 13.

Are we talking about the whole wall assembly or just the insulation?  The "R2 CMU" is throwing me.
