The top of the Wall is lower than the base of the Wall.

I am in elevation, dragging a level down by a foot. 

I get the following warning. 

 

"The top of the Wall is lower than the base of the Wall."  This cancels the action.

 

I have no walls doing this. At a loss.

Do it again and Expand Warning to see the Element ID(s) referenced. Make a note of it/them. Cancel the action and then use Select by ID and enter the Element ID and then click the Show button to find the wall involved. Repeat for each element.

I was doing that but I went over it again and realized that I was mistaken concerning one of the options. 

Works now.

You have some walls with the top constraint = that level, and the base constraint = level below + base offset > the new level to level dimension.
