The space to which the ceiling belongs

Hello there
I added a ceiling in a room, and then added a space, I would like to obtain the ceiling and the corresponding relationship between space, that is, the ceiling is no class mark shows a certain space

Hi @Anonymous,

To my knowledge there is no such tool.

A ceiling can be drawn the same way as a room is, but can as well overlap over several rooms.

So that it cannot be attached to one room.

If it is about scheduling materials and finishings, you shoud use the ceiling finish property of a room.

It allows you to define, room by room, the finishing of the ceiling.

As a matter of fact, the best way to manage finishings in big buildings is via "schedule keys" that allow you to create "types of rooms", with already defined finishes.

You then just select the type of room you want in a list...it is like a  single parameter that defines several parameters.

With your rooms, be careful that they height goes beyond the ceiling, then the software does the exact height limitation by itself.

Hope this was of help,

Cheers,

François

Thank you for your answer,
A four-walled room with room or space, the ceiling can not find the attribution of that space or roomQQ图片20161024153733.png
