Hi,
After deploying my Revit 2017 deployment image (French DI), the "Default path for family template files" says just "\Templates" instead of an actual path.
I looked in the folder ProgramData to see if my content is installed, but however while "Programs and Features" says it is installed, the templates folder in the RVT 2017 folder is missing!!!
What's even stranger, is that this path was OK in the beginning, although I had problems with the "Default path for user files" and "Root path for point clouds", because they weren't following the user's name, but kipping my username everywhere the DI was deployed!
After changing those paths for something like "C:\BIM_Local" and after recompiling the DI, this issue with the "Default path for family template files"popped-up!
It's also worth mentioning that I didn't create the deployment using any Autodesk Suite, but the plain Revit 2017 installer from Autodesk's site!
I've included also some screenshots.
Can anyone shed some light, please?
TIA,
Constantin
Hi
You can customise the path for templates, library etc.
Cheers
@Anonymous hello, you can try this go to control panel > file explorer options (if Windows 10/OS) > choose show hidden files, folders and drives. see if helps. thanks
