The case of a missimg dimensions

Hello everybody,

In my project I have a case of a missing dimmensions.

I am aware of that dimmensions is related to the model elements and when you deleted some element related to the dimmension this dimmension will be deleted too but in my case is a little bit diferrent thing.I made dimmensions and when I want to edit some part of it, it just dissapeared.Even after that I used undo button they are not returning back.Very strange....so I am forced to make a new dimmension on the spot where this happend..

It's happening at the floor plan depended views.

Have  anyone had the same case as I?

Thank you in advance for your help...:)

Click on the little light bulb in the lower left hand corner of your screen. that should show if that dimension has hidden itself. If it is hidden, clicking the little light bulb will show it in pink. You can right click and unhide it.

Perhaps the dimension just happens to be slipping beyond your Crop Region or Annotation Crop Region?  Turn off the Crop Region by clicking the Crop View button and see if it's outside of the extents and take a look.  If you find it, either turn it back on and adjust the Crop Region boundary or move the dimension to inside where the Crop Region will be, then re-enable the Crop Region.

Thank you everyone for your replies...:)

Mrs. Sahay,

I tried that option and I didn't see dimmensions that are disappeared.

Now I am working on this project and I made a new dimmension and then delete this new and I wanted to edit other one and the other one disappeared and when I clicked undo it showed just the new one that I made but not the other one....

Mr. Kunkel,

I checked the crop and annotation crop view and everything is fine.Even I extended a little bit more the annotation crop.

All dimmensions are in the view.Neither of one are slipping over annotation crop or crop line...

New case...when I just touch the dimmension it doesn't show the little blue dots(grips from dimmensions) and afterwords Revit deleted this dimmension...

This is a seriously a big problem for me as a user and a worker. Now I must repeat the hole process of making a new dimmensions and the best part is that who gonna tell me that this won't happend again for next levels for example...

I was talking with my collegues from work and sometime they had the same issue....This is a revit bug..that for sure...

Anyone had the same issue before?Maybe more option to solve this problem....

Thank you in advance...:)
