any website or anything that can show how-to add tile inside of tile and how they work within Texture Editor?
trying to get the look of plank flooring as shown (GD using hidden line)
but I get this.
trying to understand how to place a sub tile appearance within the main tile.
Is there somekind of guide or How-To
Your texture map ( .jpeg or .png, etc.) does not look correct.
Try finding a better image of the wood flooring / pattern that matches the hatch pattern ( running bond ).
Also, it is best to use a "seamless" texture to avoid "tiling" or "repeating" of the pattern.
This can be done in photoshop or other image editing apps.

Besides using an image for the wood pattern, you can also use Revit's procedural tile and custom it to your liking and to match the surface pattern.
actually, the texture map is nothing. just a color for a place holder until i can get the tiling done correctly.
i was trying to use a single plank and have it repeat and offset but I guess revit can't do that.
is there somewhere that does the How-to on how to manipulate textures?
ToanDN,
didn't see your post until after my last post. is there a how-to or something to do that?

I am not sure. You can certainly google it.
But there is only a hand full of options (okay maybe two hand full) that you can experiment to get the job done. In the example I changed the number per column and row to get the offset effect.
