Text Symbols Outside of Crop Region Printing but Not Visible on Sheet

Hello!  I have these text/annotation symbols that are embedded in a family, which are NOT visible when I view the sheet (Revit Screenshot.jpg, no extra annotations are visible) but which inexplicably show up when printing (PDF Screenshot.jpg, the annotations are highlighted in yellow).  The family with the annotations is not even visible within the cropped view (it's a kitchen located outside of the view region).  The crop region has "Annotation Crop" checked.  I've tried putting that kitchen family on a different workset and turning that workset off (didn't work). I tried hiding that kitchen family in the view (didn't work).  I tried printing using a different PDF maker (Bluebeam and PDF Xchanger - both are still showing the annotations in PDF).

Why on earth are these annotations printing when I can't even see them in the sheet / view??? I'm losing my mind. here.  Attached are two PDF Screenshot.pngRevit Screenshot.png

Does changing the extents of the Annotation Crop region have any affect?

Try Revit built-in Export to PDF.

Unfortunately no!  It's so weird. Thanks for this suggestion, though!

This worked!  No idea why "print to PDF" was causing so much headache and "export to PDF" fixed it - but that's OK, because it worked!  Thanks a bunch.
