Text Sizes in different Projects

Lets see if I can explain this.

I have a first project. I placed room labels and this turned out great. I see it is set to 1/16" Arial (Bold).

For reference I placed a 1' box...

This was my first project, afterwards I saved what I did as a template so I could continue to use everything I has already set up.

My second project I placed a room label. Same label as project 1. 1/16" Arial (Bold). As you can see, it is a lot smaller.

Am I crazy? Maybe.. but what am I doing wrong here? Thanks everyone!

Double check the scale of your views?

Hi,

The 2 views have different scales? (or different tag types?)

Textsizes in Revit are in "sheet sizes".

This means views at different scales will display the text at identical sizes on the sheet.

How do we judge something like this from a screenshot? Do they both print the same size?

thank you for the reply, that did it.

Still learning Revit, did not even think to look at the different scales for each view.

@barthbradley  That's why I placed a reference with the 1' box...
