I'm trying to create a new text type which has the arrowhead "elevation tag" instead of our standard 20 deg filled arrow. If I go to our existing Text family and try to duplicate, the only options under the Type Properties "leader arrowhead" field are other kinds of arrows.
If I go to Manage>Settings>Additional Settings> Arrowheads I can get the arrowhead I can select the arrowhead I want but then it changes the arrowhead for all of my text leaders, not just the duplicate family I've created. Is there a way to make "elevation tag" an option in the Type Properties so I can apply it only to one specific family of text?

You were so close. Duplicate the Arrow Head type, assign the Elevation Target from the list of arrow head styles. Then Duplicate the text type and assign your new Arrow Head type.
