Add additional/advanced text editing controls such as a text box with a ruler and multiple tabulating controls.

Also, the ability to control/scale text box sizes for imported drawings would be fantastic. Currently, if a cad file using non Arial font is imported, text will jumble/overlap and look sloppy because the font characters have different widths. Converting all text to Arial or Arial Narrow should not be the acceptable solution.

A ruler might be nice (and I would think essential for having custom tabs). related:

but how would you want to control the text box sizes - as a global scale factor applied to the import? like all text using Simlex with 0.75 width gets 1.2 times wider when converted to Arial at 0.85 width (for example)? It would be nice of Revit was smart enough (at least for single-line or two- & maybe three-line text) to figure out what the width needs to be to keep the same line wrapping. Obviously for larger blocks of text there's no way to guarantee that everything wraps the same when changing fonts, but it would be nice if there was a "TRY to maintain line wrapping for Text" option during the import?
