So I have fully committed to convert to Revit, coming from my AutoCad Architecture 2018. I’m hoping that I just overlooked something obvious?
Where are the text editor options for multi line text? Bullets,Numbering,Multilevel list?
Someone Please tell me Revit has these options.....

Once you place text, you have these options. The rest is managed through type properties.

Hello, there
Congratulations, you have made a good decision converting to Revit!
I hope that here in this forum we can help you with all your further questions "if any".
There are different ways for adding text in Revit (e.g. Model Text, Tags, Schedules, Text .. etc.)
I think the part that you're asking about is the Normal Annotative text ( You can find it: Annotate--Text--Text )
This is the way to add annotation texts to a 2D view "only", it's automatically scalable with the view scale, and it's a view specific element ( that means it will only appear on the view that it belongs to )
Text options:
- In the contextual menu:
Simple Font and Paragraph Options
- Edit Type Options:
More text and graphics specific options
I hope that I've answered your question. If you still have any questions please don't hesitate to post back.
Regards.
Thanks for the advice and tips guys.
After some extensive research and tutorials on the subject I now understand the difference between the AutoCAD text editor I’m used to and the way Revit handles font. Version 2018 looks like it’s headed in the right direction however the architectural firms central files I’m working on is in Vr-2016.
