I am an AutoCAD user for decades, Sketchup and Rhino for at least 10 years. So I'm familiar with 3D modeling. I decided to give Revit LT a try. I have not gone through the tutorials yet, but decided to just give it a try. I did not get far. I was able to create a wall type that suits my purposes, but I have not been able to find where/how to prevent individual wall pieces from automatically joining. In my world all walls are removable, and built in sections. They are rarely joined. For my purposes, the are shown with only one edge each meeting. (Middle image) How do I get Revit LT to NOT join walls?
I made two wall segments. I move the u-shaped wall to the other and want it to touch as in the second image. Revit automatically joins it giving me the third image.

Hi @CalypsoArt
Select the wall that you do not want to join, hover your mouswwe over the Grip at the end that you don't want to join, Right Mouse Click and select Disallow Join
Then Trim/Extend wall to the the faces, or drag ends.
...you can also set the default Join Status for all subsequent Walls on the Options Bar when you draw your next Wall.
