Tekla ifc to revit import & convert ifc objects to rvt native object

Hello Guys,

 

Can anybody help me the actual process for exporting ifc from Tekla & importing in Revit & converting them to actual Revit native elements?? I am very new to Tekla Revit interoperability procedures so please help me out.

Hello Guys,

 

finally, I got too able to import ifc objects to Revit. But I want to convert them as Revit objects. 

Please find the attached snap.

Anybody can help me on this??

In Revit you open the IFC as you would a normal Revit model;

 

File Tab > Open IFC

 

The elements are converted as best they can as regards Categories but it will not convert them to Revit Families.

 

If you want this you are ging to need to use the Tekla Integrator in Tekla Structures or Tekla Structural Design Platform to convert the Tekla Items/Components/Objects to Revit Families via mapping information between the 2 applications.  My understanding in the latest version of Tekla Structural Designer you can create a Revit model directly but you may need to look into this further.
