Tangential tunnel profile

Hi everybody,

I have a question regarding the creation of the adaptive family in revit. Is it possible to create such a tangential and parametric tunnel profile? The transitions between the different arcs must be tangential. Already has someone such a family, it would be nice if it could be shared.

Best regards
Alex

Just Google "Tangent End Arc" and "Toggle Join Tangency".  There are videos on-line.

Hello Constantin,

Thank you for your help, for the first time many thanks for your help. In the attached video, I added an example from Inventor, so it should be in Revit. The curved archs must be parammetric and tangential to each other.

Many Thanks

Alex

Accepted solution

The first option to create a tunnel profile with tangential transitions is to do it through parametric dimensions and parametric points. The attached video demonstrates the process, and you can download the example from the provided link.
