Tagging Error

Okay Guys I have a serious bug in my system and need it fixed ASAP!!!

Essentially Revit is not recognizing my tags. I have a template I have been using for a few months and have completed several projects, never ran into this issue. My template has preloaded tags. I have just started a new project and am trying to tag walls and doors. Revit gives me the error that there are no tags loaded, would you like to load tags... But clearly I have tags loaded because under my families drop down I can see them all.

If I decide to find that same tag and load it in, nothing happens. Revit does not recognize my tags!! 😕

I am posting a few pictures to bring you up to speed with me issue.

Your door tags should not be under Automatic Up-Down. They should be directly under Annotation Symbols.

Do this to check - right click on the tag in your Project Browser and click Edit. This will take you tot he family.

In the Family, check the category. The tag should belong to the category Door Tags. If it doesn't, then switch it around.

Your door tag families don't have any types inside them (see no plus sign next to the family names?).  Delete them from your project, open the families from a good project and load them again.
