Tagging camera views in plan?!

Is there a way to tag 3D camera views in plan?  It is essential for presentations...

Anyone?

Not following. What do you mean by "tag 3D camera views in plan"?  Do you mean mark the camera icon location?  Can you elaborate?

I'm not sure it this will solve perfectly this problem , so take it more as an exercise....

  • I'll use Dynamo to:
    • create a new Camera View and place the Eye Point on a  known position in Plan View ( use Project Coordinates not Survey)
    • and then place a Family Instance on Eye Point location
    • changing Eye Point coordinates will change ,also the Family Instance ( choose a Symbol for it) location too

Thanks for the Dynamo script. I'll try it. I found an intermediate solution for now but your suggestion seems better.
