Hi,
I have a problem where an inserted tag does not draw its line to the center of the family.
The workaround is to set "Leader Type" parameter to "Free End" and move it by hand, but what I am looking for is to set automatic center attachmend by default. (right pic.)
What part of family is responsible for such a behaviour?
You don't have much control when it comes to the attachment point. You could attempt to modify the family but that's a road I wouldn't suggest going down. Whatever you do isn't going to work in all situations. It's much easier to adjust the leaders with a free end.
I miss this as well, Autodesk is very very slow to implement options that makes life easier. Even small things like this they ignore. Revit works as it supposed to they will tell you.
I love Revit in so many ways, just wish that they would listen and make it even better with this small changes.

Some things just aren't possible in Revit. This is probably one of them.
This would be a handy option to add to that drop-down menu... Attached edge, attached center, or free end. Post to the idea board?
